Survey of species found in caves
Distribution of various species among diverse karst areas
eDNA analysis for tracking what is there
Problems with identifying biodiversity - lack of describers, lack of interest in invertebrates, lack of funding
How long does eDNA last in the environment?  Days - weeks - years?
Writing a book "Cave Life of the Ozarks"

Postmortem of web presentation - Sound was pretty bad.  Probably a bad microphone on Matt's end.  Otherwise very interesting.

Business meeting - Introductions.

Richard Cindric donated two helmets and lights to the club.
Bring bash kits to January meeting.
Dave Foran wants RSVP for January meeting.
CCC - There has been activity around the acquisition of land.
MSS meeting - January.  Cave Files will be open.  In Rolla.
Hickory county - nothing new to report
No scout trips on the schedule
White Nose - It's everywhere.  At lava beds they supplied gear.  Nothing from Missouri could be used.
Cloud Nine Ranch - Bat census in February.
Fund raising - new patches are coming.  Price to be determined.
Next month is Christmas party.
January is pocket first aid kits.
Upcoming trips - Pic has a list.
Next novice trip is Stark Caverns.  December 28.
Pic talked about Mammoth Cave expedition week coming up in February.
No unfinished business
New business - MeetUp group needs a long term manager.  Financial commitment.
MVOR planning - Pic is going to the site (Noel, MO) next week for planning.
Officer election in January meeting.  Current officers are willing to continue.
Novice trips - considering more weekend expeditions instead of day trips.
Trip to Ennis cave - Ozark Underground Labs - BATL backpacking, looking for a lost cave.
Maybe vertical practice at Truman Lake bluffs.
Kids caving trip.
Trip reports - Carroll Cave bat census - Perkins Cave novice trip.
